Our team recently visited Futurecom 2025, held from September 30 to October 2 at São Paulo Expo, Brazil. As the largest technology and telecommunications event in Latin America, Futurecom gathered over 30,000 professionals and more than 300 exhibiting brands, creating a vibrant space to explore the latest digital and connectivity trends across the region.
The event focused on 5G deployment, AI integration, digital infrastructure, and sustainable innovation, highlighting how these technologies are shaping the future of communication and urban development. One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of Brazil’s new National Artificial Intelligence Plan (PBIA), announced by the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation to accelerate AI adoption across key industries and strengthen the country’s global role in digital transformation.
At Futurecom 2025, we noted the rising interest in 3D geospatial data and digital twin technologies for telecom and infrastructure planning. Exhibitors showcased AI-based mapping platforms that enhance network design precision, optimize 5G deployment, and support smart city development — areas where Visicom and boodmoe bring proven expertise through accurate 2D/3D building data, terrain models, and custom digital twins tailored for local and regional projects.
Attending Futurecom 2025 gave our team valuable insights into how connectivity and data-driven innovation are evolving in Latin America. In collaboration with Visicom, we look forward to applying these learnings to deliver high-quality geospatial data and mapping solutions that empower smarter, more connected infrastructure projects across the region.
